Kibale National Park is home to over 13 primate species as well as many bird species. This makes it the world’s capital of primates in my opinion, but you’ll also find a number of other interesting creatures such as some African monkeys like blue and black colobus monkeys that are worth seeing for sure! Chimpanzees are surprisingly intelligent creatures that can often be found in the Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda.

Kibale Forest is one of Africa’s best destinations for chimpanzee tracking because it has an abundance of resources they need to survive like fruit trees and water holes which make this forest area ideal for chimps since food isn’t always plentiful throughout its habitats due to climate change or other environmental conditions.
Kibale is a protected area of tropical forest in Western Uganda. With a dry season from mid-November to late February and then again from late June through September, travelers can enjoy the park’s many trails in their best condition. Though there are wetter seasons that produce some of Kibale’s most spectacular rainforests (with an average annual rainfall of 1700mm), it may be wise to visit during one of these off times if you want your trekking trip without getting too muddy or soaked!
