The Amazing Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park is home to over 13 primate species as well as many bird species. This makes it the world’s capital of primates in my opinion, but you’ll also find a number of other interesting creatures such as some African monkeys like blue and black colobus monkeys that are worth seeing for sure! Chimpanzees are surprisingly intelligent creatures that can often be found in the Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda.

In Kibale National Park, you will have the opportunity to track them and learn more about their behaviors firsthand with expert guidance from local guides who know all of their favorite hangouts.

Kibale Forest is one of Africa’s best destinations for chimpanzee tracking because it has an abundance of resources they need to survive like fruit trees and water holes which make this forest area ideal for chimps since food isn’t always plentiful throughout its habitats due to climate change or other environmental conditions.

Kibale is a protected area of tropical forest in Western Uganda. With different flora and fauna, the park offers something for everyone to explore including moist evergreen forests (wet tropical) along Fort Portal plateau, dry semi-deciduous trees like those found around Kanyanchu (central part), or woodland with savanna that line their Rift Valley floor.

With 13 different species, the number and diversity of primates in Kibale National Park are unmatched anywhere else on earth. The most popular of these is the chimpanzee with over 1450 individuals living here making it a perfect destination for those looking to experience their very own Chimpanzee Tracking Tour.

There’s also plenty more wildlife around that you can expect to see as well including buffaloes, leopards, bush pigs, elephants & duikers! With so much variety and beauty all throughout this park any nature enthusiast will feel at home exploring its vast landscape which includes both freshwater rivers or beautiful lakes just waiting to be explored by canoeing; as well as various trails through thick forests where vibrant butterflies gracefully fly from the tree-tooth plant stem.

Kibale National Park is an excellent destination for any traveler who wants to experience the African wilderness. With a dry season from mid-November to late February and then again from late June through September, travelers can enjoy the park’s many trails in their best condition. Though there are wetter seasons that produce some of Kibale’s most spectacular rainforests (with an average annual rainfall of 1700mm), it may be wise to visit during one of these off times if you want your trekking trip without getting too muddy or soaked!
